This Observe, Assess & Plan for Individual Needs course is aimed at practitioners to support them in meeting the high expectations of Ofsted
Observing children and planning around their individual needs is an essential part of the EYFS and crucial to your Ofsted rating. Practitioners need to be aware of the characteristics of effective learning and understand how these relate to observing children’s progress in their learning and development. They need to know and understand when and what should be observed.
This Observe, Assess & Plan course will enable Practitioners:
- To identify what information is useful to record when observing a child
- To analyse observations within areas of learning and characteristics of effective learning
- To be able to evaluate what you observed in order to create opportunities for children within your planning
This Observe, Assess & Plan for Children course is aimed at practitioners new and experienced in order to support their being able to meet the high expectations placed on us by Ofsted and to ensure they are observing for a purpose and in a way that supports school readiness for children.
