Taking part in risky play in early years activities has lots of benefits to young children, but just how much risk is too much? This course examines the way we handle risky activities in the setting, from why they should be used to how to mitigate the risk. This course provides tools to safely provide a risk assessed, challenging environment for children that allows them to take risks that aid their development.

This Risky Play in Early YearsTraining Course is aimed at any practitioners that work with 2-5 year olds. The content contains examples that are aimed at children aged 3-5, but the concepts can be tailored to suit toddlers (but not under 2s).
