A Workshop to Minimise Losses between funded hours and what we would ordinarily charge
Studley, nr Redditch, Date: Thu, 2nd Mar 10:00 am-4:30 pm – Space(s) available 0
Funding the Gap – the gap between what we are paid for our funded hours and what we would ordinarily charge – is an important part of running a successful business. The interpretation of the LA Statutory Guidance 2014 causes much debate and the new 2016 version will be the cause of much discussion also. However, our interpretation has allowed us to pass LA Audits in three counties.
We have therefore developed a Funding the Gap workshop that is aimed at day nursery owners, finance managers, pre-schools and playgroup treasurers who are accepting funded children for less than their usual fee.
- Be able to maximise your income for funded children
- Create a structure to allow you to pass an LA Audit*
- Minimise losses and restrict what hours you lose money on
- Leave with all the knowledge and tools you need to implement in your setting
In this Funding the Gap we will also discuss other aspects of your business from National Living Wage, Pension auto-enrolment and ways of making savings in other areas of the business.
*3 LA Audit’s passed: Birmingham, Worcestershire, Warwickshire. Agreements from over 30 LA’s have been checked also and with the new DfE guidance on additional services we continue to be able to ensure your losses are minimised. If you want to send us your LA Provider agreement we’ll inform you if we can pass your audit too.
This event is fully booked.
