Leadership and Management – Managing Difficult People

This Managing Difficult People Training course is aimed at practitioners who are stepping up into a room supervisory or management role. It will help them understand that their job will be much more effective if they can achieve the co-operation of the people around them in a team spirit. This course forms part of the Leadership & Management Programme designed to support those newly into a role involving more responsibility. However it can be undertaken as a stand alone course as well.
People come in all shapes and sizes and as a new Supervisor or Manager it can be difficult to understand people’s behaviour and how to deal with it. Some behaviours can be detrimental to the smooth running of any setting and understanding how and when to challenge these behaviours is an important part of successful leadership.
This Managing Difficult People course will enable Supervisors / Managers to:
- Identify the different personality behaviours
- Understand how the behaviour can impact on the business
- Understand strategies to deal with unwanted behaviour and improve performance
The Leadership & Management Programme consists of 4 courses, Building and Motivating Teams, What is a Leader, Effective Communication and Managing Difficult People.
