Safeguarding in PracticeSafeguarding is an integral part of every Early Years Practitioners job role and it is essential to keep updated and informed of the process and actions we go through every day in order to provide a safe environment for the children in our care.

From preparing milk feeds to clearing the garden, from mobile phones to painted nails, we will examine a range of processes to make sure practitioners are aware of the implications. Having up-to-date knowledge, including Prevent Duty, will enable Practitioners to be confident in the process of providing a safe environment for everyone in the setting.

Early Years autism training Early Years autism awareness This short Training Course will enable Practitioners:

  • To understand the Legal requirements.
  • To recognise the importance of policies and procedures in safeguarding.
  • To understand their responsibilities.
  • To understand the new safeguarding issues from the Common Inspection Framework.

This Training Course is aimed at new employees who need an introduction to Safeguarding to ensure that they have a good understanding of the processes involved in the safeguarding of children and why we use these processes.  It is also useful for existing staff to remind them of the importance of all practices they go through every day and why we do this.
