Halloween Creations

With Halloween just around the corner and Half-Term now upon us, you may be wondering what sort of spooky activities you can get up to with the children. Here’s just a few of my favourite Halloween Creations.

googly-4I’ve always loved the idea of sensory bags, even the nurseries I’ve visited have a wide variety of themes, Googly Eye’s seems a must for this time of year! Colours can be changed and you could even add extra little bits, an inexpensive craft for hours of fun. If you’re planning on carving a Pumpkin anyway, you could also create a Pumpkin Guts Sensory Bag.

When I was younger I used to love using potato/apple for painting. It’s guaranteed that you’ve got the resources for this activity so why not give it a go? Pumpkin Apple Stamps! Of course you might wish to try out Spiders or Skulls.

spiderwebcraft-1176One of my favourite things to use for crafts is paper plates – there’s so much you can do with them! Here is a list of some really good Halloween ideas. My favourite has to be these cute little spider webs!

Foodwise; this website shows you a variety of ways to make edible eyes! Too irresistible! More for decoration, turn your oranges into pumpkins with this easy method (tip: you only need a pen!)
