Continued Professional Discussions

So with targeted CPD becoming a more prominent part of Ofsted inspections, we were excited to take part in two discussions this month. The LED event in Birmingham gave us some interesting information about funding, Ofsted, ratios and quite a bit more!

We were also lucky enough to attend a professional development event at Little Learners Nursery that was a fantastic source of inspiration. These type of events let us pull together as an industry – something that is going to get more and more important with the coming changes!

What is Science?

With science week on the horizon

(It is 11th – 20th of March)

we have been having a think about what science actually means in Early Years.

We decided it was never too early for the children to start investigating the world around them, and the links that can be drawn to every area of the EYFS make it more than worthwhile for you too.

If you need some ideas for activities to use during science week then we will have you covered next month, until then read our post and get thinking about what science can bring to your setting. (Trust us when we say it can bring a whole host of benefits!)
