Tom is a early year’s trainer with over 5 years experience in childcare, during this time he has worked across many area including schools, day nurseries, after school and holiday clubs, sport camps and franchises. Tom holds a level 3 in children and young adults, a degree in sports and sports science and Level 3 award in education and training.
Tom has worked his way up through childcare from volunteer to a strategic role and was looking after over 50 nurseries during his time working for a franchise including setting these up from scratch from existing buildings as well as purpose built. Toms experience means he fully understands the issues which can arise in early year’s settings on a day to day basis and how to tackle these. Prior to early years Tom was also a part of a team which provided Physical education Lessons to primary schools and is a qualified football coach.
Tom has a passion for learning and development of children and is always looking at different ways which can aid and enhance the learning from training tools, information sheets and planning he is always eager to find different ways to support the whole staff team.
Tom loves to visit sites on a regular basis and look at the fantastic work practitioners and children are already carrying out. Tom loves to continually update his knowledge and attends many training courses so that the information he shares with you is as relevant and up to date as it can be.
