Water Play in enabling environments

Water Play in enabling environmentsWater Play in enabling environmentsWell, the hot weather got everyone here thinking of fun ways to keep the children cool and top of everyone’s list was water play (of course). We had fun building our own water walls for our enabling environments event, so we are pretty sure you will too. It’s just having the ideas…
Water play is a fantastic opportunity to include many aspects of the EYFS in an activity that children find engaging (and helps keep them cool), just remember to keep those towels handy!

We have been trawling the net for the best ideas we could find to enhance your water play and we didn’t find anywhere better to start than here.

Ten Terrific Ways

We found the most inspiration from a google image search – yes you have to work out how to make them, and some of them look expensive, but there are just so many good ideas!  Get outside in the sun and get building (or at least start collecting the required bottles and tubes!)
